【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheminimalrequirementsforalpineskiergogglesandfaceshields,toprovideareasonabledegreeofprotectionagainstforeignobjectsstrikingorlodgingintheeyeorsurroundingsofttissuecausingeyeirritationordamage;andtominimizefoggingandvisionrestrictionsthatdistractorhandicaptheskierandtherebymaycauseaccidents.1.2Thescopeofthisspecificationshallincluderequirementsformaterials,lenssize,opticalproperties,lensstrength,fieldofvision,labeling,identification,andtestingproceduresforgogglesandfaceshieldsforalpineskiers.1.2.1Contactlenses,sunglasses,andcorrectivedresseyeweararenotincludedwithinthescopeofthisspecification.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportions,Sectionsandandofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
